Hi, I’m Mina โจ
Your K-beauty insider in Seoul. I break down what’s actually worth it on Olive Young โ based on real ingredients, not marketing speak.
Real reviews. Real ingredients. From Seoul.
What This Blog Is About
Every day, I curate Olive Young Korea’s bestsellers and break them down in English โ for the K-beauty fans who want to know what they’re actually buying, not just what’s trending.
Living in Seoul means I see what’s flying off shelves before it hits Western markets. And I’m not afraid to tell you when something’s overhyped.
How I Pick What to Review
- Olive Young bestsellers, daily โ what’s actually selling in Korean stores
- Real ingredient analysis โ I read labels, not marketing copy
- Honest takes โ sometimes the hype product isn’t right for you
- Korean buyer reviews โ what actual users say, translated for you
What You Won’t Find Here
- “Miracle” claims or “must-have” hype
- Paid promotions disguised as reviews
- Trending products without honest assessment
- Random product lists without context
๐ญ Why “Mina”?
Mina (๋ฏธ๋) in Korean carries the meaning of “beautiful” โ fitting for a K-beauty curator. But more importantly, it represents my mission: helping you find K-beauty that actually works, not just looks pretty in ads.
Why I Started This Blog
K-beauty is everywhere now โ but most English-language content stops at “Korean glass skin is trending!” or “10-step routine is a must!”
I wanted a space that goes deeper than the trends โ into what’s actually in these products, who they’re really for, and when to skip the hype.
